I don’t know why its there, but would be nice if I could correct my feet for more than -30CM.
Things are fine in the calibration area, the issues are in game.
In the future, not sure how much control the driver4vr software has but if you could make the bones in the feet track the location of the calibrated feet then it might work better, even if the feet tracking balls aren’t located on top of the feet in game.
It would appear that the tracking balls need to be on top of the avatars feet before you grip your controller and begin playing. I was wondering if you could make it so that when you load in, the tracking balls are already located at the feet position of the avatar, you can assume that the person is standing. This would make it easier and would require less tweaking for the end user, rather than the tracking indicators having to be manually placed on the avatars feet.
to achieve this I would need to find way to determine avatar position re-map position of controllers includeing headset and hands to that position.
i don’t think this can be done.
