Feet trackers following hands instead

So I use an oculus for my headset and the touch controllers as my hands, though I’ve tried the same setup using joycons and Google cardboard and I got the same issue, and for some reason the trackers that should be at my feet are following where me hands are. I changed the trackers in steamvr to disabled but that didn’t change anything. Is there a way to fix this? I’m using a kinect by the way for body tracking.

Update: I don’t think it’s following my hands. I think it might be following me elbows instead.

when you say follow you mean they follor movement or direction?
if direction then yes. this is how it works.

Since resetting everything didn’t work, I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling everything, which fixed the issue. It wasn’t direction though, the trackers were literally where my elbows were and followed where I moved them.
