    hi there! i found this product and i’m interested in it, but mainly for mocap-oriented work. almost everything i see here consists of live motion control for an avatar or player in a game or app, but i’m mainly interested in an affordable mocap option. i have a Vive already and could purchase a Kinect 1 or 2 pretty easily.

    i saw a post where Greg had mentioned he had Unity and managed to get it to work with Kinect v2 as well as the Vive HMD and controllers. i had read the trick was just to make sure the sensors weren’t interfering with each other. of course one thing i definitely would want to know is if body rotation could be detected reliably at all as well, using color trackers or whatever.

    at any rate any information would be appreciated. thanks!

    rotation works to some extend. it depends on configuration.
    you can add additional sensors to track rotation as well.
