Hi. Now I have another problem. In SteamVR my PS Move controllers moves in random direction. And it changes at every start. And they spawns behind me. For example, I move my hands forward and controllers fly backward. What should I do?
2018-01-20 at 10:41 #2340Greg DriverKeymasteryou should calibrate headset with kinect.
depending on headset you have you might ensure it will start with same position.
for example dk2 when I always start facing kinect I don’t need calibrate it each time. for rift you can reset orientation in known direction.
i am looking for ways to improve it.2018-01-20 at 10:45 #2341_I_TROLLFACE_I_ParticipantI don’t use kinect. I’m using FreePIE for position tracking.
2018-01-20 at 11:32 #2342Greg DriverKeymasterso you feed data to headset from psmove/freepie.
but headset also has orientation (where you are looking) you need align orientation of headset with kinect coordinates.2018-01-20 at 13:16 #2344Greg DriverKeymasterok. perhaps on my side something goes wrong. i will test more and update today.
2018-01-20 at 13:30 #2346Greg DriverKeymastercan you please send me steamvr.vrsettings?

2018-01-20 at 14:05 #2352Greg DriverKeymasterhere is updated version that should not have this problem.
at least I had this problem long time and was caused by some missconfiguration but it works now.

2018-01-20 at 14:11 #2355_I_TROLLFACE_I_ParticipantNow I just played Bigscreen with Oculus DK2 positional tracking system (w/o PSMoveService).
2018-01-20 at 14:12 #2357Greg DriverKeymasterand?
2018-01-20 at 14:22 #2358_I_TROLLFACE_I_ParticipantNow Steam don’t see Driver4VR driver. I’m trying to reinstall it, but nothing happens.
2018-01-20 at 15:10 #2361_I_TROLLFACE_I_ParticipantIf I try to do installation, it just duplicate SteamVR

2018-01-20 at 16:09 #2371Greg DriverKeymasteryou need align controlers with headset direction. this is required step at the very end of setup. press start+select on one controller when touching to headset like in this instruction video nearly at the end
2018-01-20 at 16:20 #2372_I_TROLLFACE_I_ParticipantOkay, but my head moves in wrong direction too
2018-01-20 at 16:52 #2374Greg DriverKeymasterok.
so I start dk2 always front facing kinect. then I have no such problem.
if there is, you need go to settings next to head trackning and adjust manually angle.2018-01-20 at 16:55 #2377Greg DriverKeymasteralso it seems you are using very old version.

then you can setup dk2 to have front in same direction as kinect.
then when you start steamvr you also have it facing kinect.
that works for me 🙂 -
