    Can’t edit the post above, but wanted to say that I can move my legs and hips around in that video and they track the position fine, but they always face the kinect. Normally they would track position fine too, but they would face where my head is facing, which looks weird.

    @Greg Driver

    Actually, I found a bug/feature. I cannot replicate it though.

    The video above shows me in VRchat, I have hip tracking and leg tracking on, but I didn’t move my legs much. As you can see, it looks much more natural to turn without your hips and legs following your head. And since we need to face the kinect anyway, I don’t see the need to rotate the hips with the head since in real life, our bodies would still be facing to the kinect and only our head will turn.

    If possible, can you not simply lock the rotation/yaw of the trackers. Like have an option in the program to freeze where the trackers are facing at that moment and keep it that way.

    Also, I don’t have any controllers for rotation, I’m just using kinect360 but the trackers for driver4vr are frozen for rotation. Notnsure how to replicate.

    I can upload a video showing how it works right now with how the trackers follow the head, and it should show how weird it feels and looks for both VR chat and any other game.

    Also, for PSMove cobtrollers, do you need seperate LED tracking balls, or can you use the ones on them already for colour tracking.

    @TheDunkShot are you using 360 kinect? If you are, do tell if these are good for colour tracking.

    Quite interested in these.

    What about the hips? Can you set a controller on your hips as well or does it still follow your head?

    I mostly want the hip tracker and not so much the leg tracking. Might be off topic, but would it be possible to use only the hip tracking for VRchat and not use the leg trackers?

    I’m also curious. How accurate are the NOLO? It doesn use kinect right? But uses it’s base station itself. If so, does it have problems tracking if you turn to the side or sit down? How about if you walk to and away from the base station? Atm, kinect 360 has trouble with all of those, especially walking towards the kinect makes you levitate in vrchat or sink into the ground.

    Debating getting nolo for portable vr and body tracking. But I’d like some firsthand feedback on how accurate they are or a video to showcase it.

    @Greg Driver

    So, the NOLO uses it’s own base station to do the tracking? No need for a Kinect with it, just NOLO and the driver4vr right?

    Would you say it’s more accurate than kinect 360 with psmove? I may buy NOLO if it’s more accurate and can let me turn around. The kinect 360 loses tracking if I try to turn to the side, plus the feet trackers aren’t in line with the ground for some reason.

    When I walk towards the kinect, the trackers rise up from the ground. If I walk away from the kinect 360, the trackers sink into the ground. Not sure if this is a hardware limitation or a bug though.

    I’d also like to ask you how the NOLO trackers work(ed) Are they accurate?

    Yes. Atm, I use kinect 360, which has subpar tracking. If NOLO only uses the rotational sensors, there’s little point in bjmuying it over psmove.

    Also, NOLO is 15% off atm due to Chinese new year.

    Does driver4vr use NOLO’s sensor? Or just kinect still and only use NOLO’s rotation sensors inside the controllers?

    Specifically, Does colour tracking let you rotate and angle your hips and legs (with kinect 360) independently from your head? At the moment, using skeleton, my feet and hips turn the same way as my head(headset/oculus).

    If it does let you turn/rotate independently from each other- how does it work? Do I just need coloured balls and strap them to my feet? Or do I need something like a pingpong ball with a coloured LED light? or do I need to buy an actual tracker like PS Move?

    Sorry- I’m new to this.

    Okay, is there any way I can get membership back without paying again?
