    Hey,

For the 1 and 3 please run the PSMoveService before opening steamvr/ driver4vr. There are still a few issues when the driver4vr starts the PSMoveService.

    Hey Zivzv,

Did you try changing the order of the controllers assigned to the d4vr_left/right in the Device Manager?

    e.g:

    d4vr_left | vrcontroller 1
    d4vr_right | vrcontroller 0

    instead of

    d4vr_left | vrcontroller 0
    d4vr_right | vrcontroller 1

    Hey,

I bypassed this issue by editing PSMove files. Navigate to ..\AppData\Roaming\PSMoveService and make the following changes to the files.

    DeviceManagerConfig.json
    “controller_reconnect_interval”: “0”,
    “controller_poll_interval”: “2”,
    “tracker_reconnect_interval”: “10000”,
    “tracker_poll_interval”: “13”,

the following are the name of my move controller files, yours could be different
    04_76_6e_be_bf_04.json
    e0_ae_5e_db_24_73.json
    “max_poll_failure_count”: “100000”

    Hey Greg,

I fixed it! there was a problem somewhere in the ‘driver4vr’section of the steamvr.vrsettings file, I suspect it’s related with the button mapping, but after doing some cleaning the problem was fixed. Still I recommend implementing a reset button for the controller mapping. I’m uploading both the working and not working files if you want to take a look.

The only remaining problem it’s that I can’ get the trigger to work with the trigger button of my PS Navigation controller so I had to map it to the up direction of the controller (this behavior is the same for both the controllers).

    Hey Greg,

Somehow my hands are switched with LeapMotion / SteamVR (left hand is right controller and right hand is left controller) in normal (rest) position. Maybe a bad config in steamvr file?

Print bellow is in Arkham Knight.

    Hey,

The problem is SteamVR Beta! I Opt Out of Beta and it works fine!

    Hi Greg,

I believe the PS Move / PSNavi controllers are the most popular since most people bought them recently (I’m included) to use them has VR Controllers. Also the Daydream controller doesn’t have the trigger button so it would need to emulated somehow to work with steamvr.

In summary my choice would be Leap Motion + PSNavi 🙂

    Hey Greg,

Can you recomend a bluetooth vr controller? by the way the default position of the hands is palms facing down so the controller must be tied to the hand, I made some changes to the settings so the default is thumb facing up but I noticed wierd behaviors in tracking..can you tell if this is something to be address in the next releases?
