ParticipantHi Greg,
Roborecall should be fine, play with full locomotion,
The issue is that the thumbsticks and x,y,a,b are all mapped to vive track pad.
Another game to try, wilsons heart. It doesnt use thumbsticks but makes use of x,y,a,b
Thanks Greg

ParticipantThanks Jna,
It is indeed the Steamvr Beta
Opting out of beta fixed the issue for me also

ParticipantSo you want mouse wmulation with Pimax?
Here are Some ideas,
Airmouse and velcro,
IR leds and Trackir mouse mode.
Wiimote, velcro and glovepie/freepie mouse emulation,
Opentrack has alot of options for input devices and can emulate a mouse – including a program called Opentrackkinect which uses the kinect 360 or 2.0 as input and can output as a mouse
There are many tutorials online and a subreddit “DIYRIFT”
Which might interest you.Good luck

ParticipantThat would suggest the usb is either exceeded bandwith or there is a problem with your adapter (happened to me once, the light came on but the usb cable was damaged,i had to replace the adapter).
Things to try-
Hook your kinect up to an xbox 360 to make sure its not damaged.
If not then its the adapter or the usb bandwith.
Try a different usb hub, and try again, remove all other usb items to test.
If it works then you know its usb bandwith – one solution is to buy a powered usb hub.
If it doesnt work then replace the adapter, they are relitavely cheap on amazon and ebay.
Good luck

ParticipantHi Greg,
As jna has pointed out, there is no trigger button…otherwise the daydream controller has the best sensors
Wouldnt it be possible to compensate for drift with wiimote via the kinect/leap sensor?
Ps navi and move are shpported via psmoveservices…
They do work well but, psmoveservices is complicated and buggy if you get one aspect of the long setup wrong.
How about gear vr controllers? I would imagine the specs are similar to daydream controller, and it has a trigger ๐ ( i think).
I still like wiimote, but the coding would, as you pointed out probably be a pain.

ParticipantMmmmm….i think it could be just a case of you being too close to the Kinect…that can cause the problems you describe….

Participantcoxo2436, did you install the latest Drivers for Kinect 360 and the Kinect SDK – Note that the 360 drivers are different to the Kinect 2.0 drivers

ParticipantHi Greg….
With wiimote (and Nunchuk) you can get Pitch, Yaw and Rotation, so with this you can get orientation – Kinect/Leap for position
it has been done with OSVR – but that software is not really user friendly like Driver4vr is….
check out OSVRFUSION

with your software I believe something similar could be achieved…I hope ๐
