Do you have the correct USB controller? You need either a Renesas or Intel one.

Looks like it was caused by iVRy. I installed a previous version through the steam Beta tab and it’s been working fine all evening.

You need the driver installed, I’d try iVRy, Trinus was a bit to fussy for me.

I am too working on this. I have button, axis and rotational data being reported by Windows but Driver4VR reports the rotation as additional axis.
