Hi, this is an update from my previous message, Greg and NiHuShu I think I solved why people with wii motion plus inside keeps on disconnecting. It’s because of Bluetooth range. It’s a hardware problem. I wasn’t able to play for like 5 or less minutes because the wiimote keeps on disconnecting and I have a wii motion plus inside. When I bought the insignia Bluetooth dongle, I’m able to play for like an hour or more without disconnecting. I don’t think it’s the type of phone or app you use it’s just the Bluetooth hardware that makes the problem. But I specifically used an Insignia Bluetooth for my Bluetooth extension so I don’t know if other Bluetooth dongle works. Also in the device manager you have to disable “Generic Bluetooth Adapter” for the dongle to work. The “Generic Bluetooth Adapter” is not the dongle but what’s built in the laptop or desktop Bluetooth. I also use IVRy app but I don’t think that makes any difference.

Let me know if it worked. By the way for the device to show up you have to “ start” driver4vr then assign the wiimote/Nunchuk to the left and right d4vr then restart the application to make changes happen.

When it is connected in windows you should click “start” driver4vr then hold down 1 and 2. It should pair with driver4vr. For driver4vr to be recognized in the logs you need to restart the application after connecting. Hope this helps!

The driver that your using is from a developer called Julian Loehr which isn’t compatible with driver4vr. So you have to uninstall that using the control panel then uninstall programs. After that you should use the driver by Microsoft by joining a personal area network on Bluetooth by right clicking it. Then it should install the files made by Microsoft, not by Julian Loehr. When connecting your wii remote to Bluetooth it should ask you a password but you should click next and not put a password.

After you click start on driver4vr you need to pair the controller then close the application, then open it again to show in driver4vr. The controller won’t disconnect when you close driver4vr.
