Another idea might be this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvfGFDpX5FY which is a kinect like camera with a computer built in. Its currently $150 but I hope that it goes down and is used with trackers to improve vr even more.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0oviurS5Mw This video shows 2 kinects on one system.
It can be done with a usb 3.0 pci express cards but you will need a powerful machine to do so.
You will need different USB controllers for each of the kinects. At least that is what I have found from my research.
I am also hoping for something like this https://youtu.be/1bodwMQ2zv8.
Where you use another computer to send data to the main machine.2018-01-10 at 15:40 in reply to: Release 3.2.0 – Body tracking hip and leg adjustments #2057
I think he/she trying to say is that in games they think of the trackers is a controller. When I try to play some games it thinks that my track is a controller. Pavlov vr does this.
So you can’t use ball tracking for the hip and legs? Sorry to keep bothering you.
I have been looking into using Reflective tape or bands like these for leg/hip tracking “https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N7NGJWT ” OR could a lit /led ping pong ball be used to help the kinect (xbox one) track my feet / hip? Have you had any luck with such things? What are you doing on such issues? Whats you take on legs and hip tracking right now?
Videos below on reflective tape being used on kinect.
And a video on a lit ping pong ball being used for head tracking.
Thank you for time and work on driver4vr and on me.
Can you create light balls for your feet and hip to help improve hip and leg tracking? Also, how many kinects can you use in a setup? Could multiple kinect help with leg/hip tracking? Any tips such problems?
I am trying to use it with VRChat and the kinect keeps losing my legs/hip.
