Your original reply implied that it was impossible to get vive trackers working with a rift S. Furthermore, the Rift S inside-out tracking would not be able to see the vive trackers through software or otherwise, the lighthouses use spinning pulses of lasers to track, the Rift S has no way of sending out those pulses in order to track vive accessories themselves. You *need* the lighthouses in order to track vive pucks, controllers or headsets – however it *is* possible to line them up to the Rift S playspace using OpenVR space calibrator or by slapping a puck on the Rift S and running it through driver to make it tracked with the puck instead of the inside-out tracking.

P.S. Also in the camera marker setting window, you can’t reset Tr. 1 for some reason

I see it on the automated calibration window (5 points) when trying to utilize the camera markers, I had to manually calibrate which is tedious, but doable.

As I’ve come to realize, the automated setup isn’t implemented yet. However – for those of you who might also be wondering – I managed to fix drifting by adjusting the tracking marker size above or below what the tracker actually is to account for the differences in camera focal length. You must also mount the camera so that it’s level with the floor, you can’t have it angled up or down as far as I’m aware.

Furthermore, I’ve been rather disappointed with the manual calibration I’ve achieved so far – the further I move from the calibration point the more the feet drift. I don’t know if this is an issue with scaling or something, but it’s rather annoying having my feet move too far when I move them around.

If I may correct vipast here, you *can* line up vive trackers with your Rift-S coordinate system. You can use OpenVR space calibrator if you just need the controllers, or you can use driver4vr and slap a puck on your headset if you want it tracked via the lighthouse system. From what I understand anyways – I was told you can do the same with a WMR headset so I don’t see why you couldn’t do so with a Rift-S. You will need lighthouses though for things like vive trackers to be tracked.

You should explain your setup and your problem in more detail, can’t help if you just say it doesn’t work lol
