I tried that and nothing was shown under ‘Currently Affected Devices’, I clicked Remove All anyway but nothing changed.

Nope. The code is heavily Windows dependent, I suspect it would be a major effort to port it to Linux.

I agree, the download page should have a list of all recent release with release notes. Currently you have no control which version to install.

Gravity, I agree with some of your comments and I think the only way I’m going to get my joy-cons working is basically writing my own version of driver4vr.

On the question of support though, unfortunately under EU law he is obliged to offer a remedy (i.e. make it work) or refund if his tool doesn’t work which it doesn’t for me and clearly many others judging by the posts on here and discord.

I’d have no objections whatsoever to paying if it actually worked or we got support for problems. But since neither is the case then it would definitely be better being open source like all the components Greg has built it from:- https://github.com/gb2111

10 minute limit for the trail is a joke as I’ve spent 8 hours trying to get it to work ( paid for ) and still failed.

It took me several pairings, unpairings, deleting driver4vr, reinstalling it and then they eventually got recognised as two left controllers so the right one was unusable !

I read on discord to try and connect them as part of a personal area network so might give that a try. I did try that for wiimotes though and they failed to be recognised too.

I’m not very impressed so far.

This is the ‘Virtual Trackers’ mode, they move only like bent arm distance. You need to add Kinect hand tracking to have 6dof because the system needs to know where they are relative to the rest of you.

Same here, I don’t know whether I’m on the latest version or not.

I tried to get wiimotes working yesterday but failed. What would be your recommended driver4vr setup for HL:Alyx considering approx prices ? :-

    Kinect 360 – €20
    Kinect One – €90
    wiimote + nunchuck – €20
    PSMove – €130 / pair
    joy con clones – €40 / pair
    Nolo VR – €250

    + €20 for driver4vr of course.

    Thanks !

I haven’t been able to get it to work either, same issue – pairs with Windows OK but doesn’t show up on the tracker manager list. I’m a brand new user as I only bought driver4vr yesterday so could be doing something wrong.

Hi, I just bought driver4vr yesterday and tried wiimotes but it wasn’t detected by driver4vr. I created the personal area network and added the remote and it paired fine with Windows. Then started driver4vr and went to tracker manager but they’re just not on the list. I tried restarting and re-pairing but still no luck. Any ideas what I’m dong wrong ?
