    hi,
i am upgrading to openvr v12 since interface was changed a lot and I think some of components does not go through old interface (while some might still do).
after that I will add detail tracking for buttons to see 100% if the message is properly sent to SteamVR. If you can see position and orientaiotn then basically it already means that the buttons should also work but… they don’t.

also please send me logs as described here but it might need to wait until upgrade to v12.

I see the word button, i like 😀

ty for facing that problem Greg.

(same for me everything works without delay and good tracking (i-4790k,16gb ram,970gtx and still 100%cpu), but the missing buttons makes me tilt as they work in driver4vr->device-manager-preview and it feels like its my fault^^)

    hi,
can you please check this version? it is migrated to new openvr api that has quite new model for buttons, etc.
i tested this yesterday and today on riftcat and dk2 and all looks good.

now as I migrated to new openvr I can finally get it sorted. this will be my priority so if that version don’t work I can make one with extra logs to capture issue and I hope we sort this sorted soon.

    Hey Greg!

My issue actually went beyond just the buttons (controllers were barely being detected 1 out of 40 attempts) That build you posted seems to do the trick in terms of actually getting my PSMove controllers detected in Driver4VR and in SteamVR games using IVRy app (iOS/iphone version of Riftcat/Vridge) (Seems to work almost every-time now!)

Regarding buttons… I think the controller buttons were also detected for my PSMoves! (Lots of new things are happening in games)

My issue now is mapping navigation controllers (that I don’t own) to the PSMove controllers. A simple forward/backwards would do the trick for a game like VRChat. The Driver4VR button mapping is a little confusing; and I don’t know if its even possible to map navigation buttons for forward/backwards to move in a free game like VRChat. [Figuring it out]

I’m now 50% convinced to support Driver4VR officially, and I’m sure many other IOS users who use IVRy app will take interest too.

    Hi,
Thanks. 50% it seems not much but I guess it was much smaller before 🙂

In order to move in VRChat you can use only ps moves. you click ps move button and move it where you would expect trackpad to be. You can test it in SteamVR before game. There are also options in Device Configuration / PS Move Tab / Configuraiton.
You can set there to reset trackpad position to center each time it is unpressed.

This was working very well for me although when you look at this first does not seem to be.

So your plan is to set up ps navi on the top of ps moves like in psmoveservice ?
    Thanks

I wouldn’t buy something that doesn’t work for me. Haha. 😛 The missing 50% is probably on my end now! I’m a VR noob and only gave the working build 2-3 tries; so I’ll keep trying for navigation. Seeing my arms move slightly (even if they;re all messed up for whatever reason) is very encouraging.

It’s a great build and you should definitely consider pushing it out as a main!

    ThumbsUp

ok. let me know if you make ps navi working 🙂
will I be correct then that head+ps move work for you and only 1 out of 10 button press is lost ? if there is more you can then I will appreciate.

I have tried 3.6 version now. It works better and I can see more compatibility. But when I though I got, I found some details while trying it.

Who has this working completely now with 3.6?
I don’t know if I should uninstall everything and delete every folder (regarding steam and D4VR) and start from scratch?
Is freepie or steamvr.vrsettings needed? as I don’t see them to be mentioned lately.

I am using PSmove with kinect.

    what the problem is?

    Hi @greg,

What I am looking to fix is the controllers.
If I choose “LED lights”, the PSmove only rotates 360 degrees but they don’t move around.

When I choose “skeleton”, works better and both of them move, but only one of them can move and rotate (for example when I rotate my hand), and the other one only moves around the space, so no rotation.

I think I am almost there, I may have some conflict somewhere.

if they don’t move when you select colour then you need to calibrate colour as described here.

Oh thanks, I was not aware of these details. I will give it a try when I come back home.

hi @greg I just had a chance to check it today.

Just a little detail I can’t figure it out. I followed your advise to use LED lights for hand controllers and do the calibration color. This is what happens with my move controllers:
1- Left controller: works completely fine. Moves around space and can rotate.
2- Right controller: Moves around space but can’t rotate. But when I move my HMD, it rotates this controller. It is like the HDM and the right controller are conflicting each other.

Could you help me out with this matter?
    thanks

Sorry, I am not sure what preview.
Do you mean during calibration, where I do gyroscope, etc?

    Hi, any help please?
Everything seems to work fine, just when I get to the Steam Home, the HMD rotates one of my controllers. Like it is conflicting.

in device manager you need assign tracker to each physical controller.
you don’t have it assigned to it follows head direction which is default behavior.
