I’m having 3 seperate issues which are entirely impeding me using the program. Help with any would be appreciated. I am attempting to use the kinect motion sensor with riftcat and PS move controllers.

1, When I open Driver4VR, PSMoveService wants to run, I click yes and then it asks again and a quick black cmd menu opens and closes again very quickly and then PSMoveService will keep asking to run and the same thing happens in an endless cycle and I can’t use the program at all.

2, If I do get past this, which is rarely, the kinect will not pick up head tracking. It detects my whole body but will not show the head tracking ball on my head. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and there is plenty of room above my head.

3, When trying to pair a device with PSMoveService, the controller information shows up under controller settings when I plug in my official PS Move Controller but no “Pair USB Controller” setting shows up at all so I can’t pair the device.

    Thanks in advance

To Follow up on problem 3, I believe my bluetooth adaptor is only running v2.0 bluetooth and not the v4.0 required which is probably the fix for that, but I’m still having problems with the other 2. I’ve messed around a bit more and the camera does track my body and some kind of height in the steam VR room but I don’t know if that’s the same as full head tracking.

Have you had any luck with the second issue? I just set this up today and mine is doing the same thing.

    Hey,

For the 1 and 3 please run the PSMoveService before opening steamvr/ driver4vr. There are still a few issues when the driver4vr starts the PSMoveService.
