Just bought the XB1 Kinect, software etc and after lot of trial and error it’s really good value for money compared to the Vive trackers at only 1/7th of the cost. I feel once the Kinect is in perfect position, good play space and setting perfected it feels comparable to vive tracker a good amount of the time. Minus the odd twitching, little latency, if you’re in a 180 degree playspace that is. Can even semi lay down if fiddle around with the settings. As I play VRChat mainly, I’ve been so desperate for full body tracking for a long time and this has fixed my desperation of getting the vive trackers.
And I got a very small playspace(just about see my entire body from max distance) and it still works fine. Another benefit is I don’t need to recharge trackers or strap them on everytime I play!
Anyways I just want to say a big thank you to Greg Driver for making this possible if it wasn’t for you then I wouldn’t of been able to get it for a long time. I hope you keep improving your software, you’re talented!
