In this release:
– info about kinect/driver fps
– fix for virtual movement and rotation,
– button mapping fixes
– make steamvr not start after post setup registration
– installer will prompt for steamvr folder if not found.
– virtual move is limited to 4 meters, floor and ceiling – 2 meters.2018-03-12 at 12:44 #40902018-03-12 at 15:23 #4115SchneitzParticipantHas anyone managed to install the update? I keep getting this error message: “The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.”
Also, Windows Defender warns me about the file as well, it hasn’t happened before. I’ve tried redownloading it about 3 or 4 times and I still get the error message.
Using Windows 10 x64 Pro
[Edit] Running it as admin gives me the same message.

2018-03-12 at 16:12 #4117Greg DriverKeymasteryes. file was broken. updated again.
2018-03-12 at 21:54 #4126PodParticipantSorry greg, the rotation still isnt fixed. I re-ran room setup at the start and had myself in the middle of the room. Then when I rotated I was again outside of the room (partially in a wall). Further rotations then rotated on that new spot.
I could see my steamVR stand point back in the middle of the room.Cheers

2018-03-13 at 08:26 #4136Greg DriverKeymastercan you try restart steamvr after room calibration?
2018-03-13 at 08:33 #4137PodParticipantSure. Will try tonight
2018-03-13 at 20:31 #4160PodParticipant2018-03-15 at 03:22 #4184kiranearitachiParticipantAny reason virtual move was limited?
2018-03-16 at 11:30 #4206Greg DriverKeymasterto avoid risk of running away game area. you can however set radius up to 4 meters.
is that ok?2018-03-16 at 21:34 #4235Corman5990ParticipantWouldn’t mind having a unlimited choice.
2018-03-17 at 10:26 #4240ihatemondaysParticipantYes I’d like an option to change it above 4 meters or unlimited range too.
2018-03-17 at 19:34 #4279ColeSlavParticipantI noticed that when I switched to this newest version (3.10.8) my controller tracking became massively unstable for my Windows Mixed Reality. I didn’t re calibrate after installing the new version of the driver so I will have to see if the issue persists after re calibrating. Tracking seems fine on the hip and leg tracking, though the hips and legs are slightly offset to the left. Had same issue on previous version of the driver. Is there any way to move the legs and hips closer to the center?
2018-03-18 at 13:39 #4295kiranearitachiParticipantYes I would also like unlimited option
2018-03-19 at 03:25 #4343el-bohnoParticipantHi have to run the room setup to often, a few times i can calibrate position in steamvr, but suddenly i´m in the floor , or cant press it. please fix. Using kinect 360 skeleton head tracking and 2 ps move controller for led tracking.

2018-03-21 at 18:26 #4365danank92Participanti cannot setting the correct position headtracking for nolo and dk2
2018-03-21 at 18:47 #4368Greg DriverKeymaster@el-bohono this happens when you virtual move ?
@danank92 can you tell more about your problem ? there is only angle correction that is required for nolo and dk2.2018-03-21 at 21:21 #4379el-bohnoParticipantThis happens sometimes, when I set back the position in steam vr, stay at the same point in my room( reallife) ;-).
2018-03-22 at 08:02 #4405PremyslavParticipantHi Greg. Is it possible to add option in key binding to bind a key to move and rotate headset only not the whole body. I ask cause it would be great if i could do this from my bluetooth controllers to correct yaw drift of headset. It would also be helpfull to move headset to its centre cause i spawn way behind the circle and would like to reset my position at exact spot of my room.
