I just had a free kinect360 and try to use it instead of my current psmove config (2 camera) to track my pimax 4K. I uses the same usb light bulb. I found the Kinect360 too much laggy, I had some difficulties to make it see my light bulb in daylight (I try with a solar filter but then it lost the bulb) and more over, it makes more present the effect of side movement linked to the offset between the light (on the top of my head) and the center of rotation of my head.
So I get back to PS move…
Do I have a problem with kinect or is this normal ?

    so there are 2 reasons.
    1. is that kinect fps is 30gfps at best. while ps eye is usually 60.
    2. i don’t think this is really important as fact that I apply filter which is required expecially for skeleton tracking. i think i could at least change filter parameters for colour tracking as it is more robust.

for kinect 360 you must make some work it to track colour properly as there is no way to control exposure.
