Nunchuk… or wiimotes

Hi!
My setup is composed by a Rift DK2, leap motion & kinect360. Would be fantastic if I could use my wiimotes (but best nunchucks) to emulate vive controllers in EarthVR. Have you any solution/suggestion to realize this “dream”?

hi. basically i have already communication to wii mote and nunchak.
but not sure good way to use it. it has big drft both of them.
if we find reasonable way then sure. why not.

Tell me if I’m wrong: the position of my hands&controllers could be tracked with leap motion.
But…

Yesterday evening I’ve binded wiimotes via bluetooth with my PC, and then started Steam with driver4vr. There was no way to map controllers buttons. Is there any way to do this?

not right now. for wii we need explicit communication which I have but not use.
I was thinking to use it for orientation, not only as button source.

Ok, I suggest you consider button mapping 4 wiimotes, because it would be “poor man solution” (like me 😉 for a full vive controllers emulation. Leap motion remains for position tracking, of course.

but only for buttons vr gamepad is much cheaper and has joystick.
