The lack of instructions are laughable. is calibration necessary? every time I try all I get are “boos”. It senses my body movement but when I go on vrchat it isn’t tracking my movements.
Start by standing to the far left in play area.
Next, stand to the far right in play area.
Next, stand in front of play area.
Next crouch in the center play area.
Next, crouch in center of play area but further back than the previous position.
Yeah, I do see my skeleton. I just tried it with the latest test version and still getting the same results.
Is it necessary to complete the calibration in order for body tracking to work in game? (because it seems to track my skeleton fine, and id be okay with it just reflecting that in game)
you need calibration if you have external to driver4vr tracking system like oculus or vive. do you see position is changing as you move – field: Head pos (Kinect): ….
do you mind recodiing short video with calibration window ?
Yeah, I can upload a video. Does it matter if i do it in seated mode or standing?
here are my settings:
Head – Off – I have my own headset tracking (Riftcat)
Hand controllers – Kinect Skeleton
Body/Trackers – OFF (since my xbox controller/keyboard would stop working in game if I had this on, Im not sure if its fixed in 3.3.5)
ok.
so you don’t’ have oculus or vive. then you need tracking system.
you need set head tracking to ON for example Kinect Skeleton.
and no need to calibrate anything.
