Downloaded the software and I believe everything has been calibrated to the best of my knowledge. Still learning the basics of the program. When attempting to open VRchat through my Oculus, it won’t allow me to. I am assuming i need the program open in order to have the kinect camera on. Otherwise, it is off. Am I missing a step? Is there another way to activate the software in vrchat in order for me to use body tracking in VR? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

what exactly do you mean as ‘does not allow me to’. you need launch vrchat via steam as well.

The vrchat app won’t open saying too many programs are open and others need to close in order to open vrchat. I attempted opening driver4vr and steamvr when in vrchat, but vrchat crashed. Am I missing a step?

Yes, start VRChat in the Steam interface (press the left controller menu key and pick your library, then select VRChat and “Start in VR”), do not start it in the Oculus menu if you plan to play with Driver4VR for that play session.

The reason for that is because Driver4VR uses OpenVR Input Emulator to add the “fake” body trackers, and the Input Emulator relies on SteamVR to be open. So any time you want to use Driver4VR full body, start it in Steam instead of Oculus.

    hello.
that is true, you need start steam version.
bt driver4vr does not use inputemulator and it is doign those operation itself.
