    I can download everything fine but when i launch the program it opens immediately yet steam vr takes a while to open and they wont connect to one another. looking to buy this program but i want to make sure it works first.

    what headset do you have ?
    does it start normally with driver ?

    The Oculus! Yes, the Oculus software starts normally.

    I have the oculus head set, the driver launches fine but steam vr doesn’t launch at the same time causing it to not sync together.

    can you please go to SteamVR binary folder – usually:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64

    2. execute from command line
    vrpathreg

    and send me output ?

    I have the same issue

    my vrpathreg is
    E:\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64>vrpathreg.exe
    Runtime path = E:\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\
    Config path = E:\Steam\config
    Log path = E:\Steam\logs
    External Drivers:
    G:\Driver4VR\lib\drivers\driver4vr

    if I delete openvrpaths.vrpath in the appdata folder it uninstalls Driver4vr register but steam vr will launch again

    When I try to launch both I get Error (301) in steamvr and it will not launch steam vr

    after a few restarts I got it to recognize, I will update if it disconnects again

    first of all, can you update to latest version?
    this time it should not start steamvr post upgrade.
    then check task manager if any of steamvr programs is still running even though you closed them: vrserver.exe, vrmontior.exe.

    are you working perhaps on inputemulator branch of steamvr?
    if yes, you should change to main.

    I’m getting something similar. Definitely not on the beta SteamVR version.

    I had the same problem and I managed to get it working by having my headset connected to SteamVR before launching Driver4VR.

    How can someone launch steamvr without automatically launching the driver4vr app?

    click Installer link and then Unregister driver.

    please help me pleease i got a kinect fordriver4vr and the kinect works fine but driver4vr wont start!!! please help me!!!! i spent 7 pounds
