I’m mainly interested in the lower body, color ball tracking as shown in the video.
Questions on the ball it self.
Does each ball have to be different colors?
Is there a possibility for hip tracking with an additional ball?
Does the ball have to glow? (Given visibility isn’t an issue)
Questions on the software.
Is there a massive over-head performance wise when using color tracking?
How might I view the Kinect camera like you did in the video?
Thanks, for reading. I understand this was a long post, but I wanted to ask everything I found pertinent.
I forgot to add that, if you’re willing to release a beta for 4.X I would be happy to test it, and to help iron out any issues that it has. I don’t know if this helps but I program in a number of languages and have been doing so for a few years now. (mainly C#) My point being is that I can break down the problems that may exist in your application from an end users perspective.
I mainly would like to help, because I’m interested in the technology and the utility of your software.
I’ve one more problem about this lower body tracking.
Wouldn’t oculus rift track where my head is at to show me as crouching or lying down in vrchat?
Will this lower body conflict be solved in patch 4.0 if I want to do movement like sitting down or when I do splits?
So my question is basically will driver4vr take over oculus rift’s control of tracking my lower body?
