i´m using riftcat to get my gearvr controllers working and it is working pritty smouth I must say. The only drawback is that as other 3-dof controllers they dont support directional movement. (Up/down Right/left front/back)
But then I was wondering. Would it be posible to conbine hand possition from kinect and movement from the 3-dof controller (here gearvr) to work as a single controller in steamvr?

If this would work it would be a werry simple setup with awsome capability.
