i can see in below logs you should be able to see it once

but then at the very end execution it failed again
2018-01-23 22:39:48: Daydream Device (&1594dd15&) – error when registering for notifications: Unreachable
This can be en error in microsoft as they describe here
I occasionally have issue similar to yours but usually after restart it works. I tested original daydream and virtoba s1 on few machines.
